  • Dissertation research, Maternal early life nutrition and growth and milk composition in adulthood, with the Cebu Longitudinal Health and Nutrition Survey. August 2007-January 2008.
  • Cebu, Philippines
  • Measuring maternal beliefs and behaviors regarding breast feeding.
  • Developing field techniques for the study of human milk. In collaboration with Chris Kuzawa and Thom McDade.
  • Breastfeeding in early life and later influences on adult metabolism and reproductive function, with Chris Kuzawa and the Cebu Longitudinal Health and Nutrition Survey.
  • Exploring the effects of iron levels during infancy on health.
